50% of AOP Costières de Nimes production is exported every year. That’s why our estates regularly welcome wine professionals from all over the world. This week we welcomed 3 British journalists and a wine influencer.

& @thewinequeen_ were able to enjoy dinner at @latabledu2 from the cuisine of @franck_putelat and a tour of the appellation the following day, to discover and understand the exceptional uniqueness of this Costières terroir, typically Rhodanian with its rolled pebbles, but also the closest to the sea, bringing power and freshness to our wines.
The weather didn’t cooperate, but at the same time, despite the 22 mms of rain, they were able to feel the benefits of these rolled pebbles, which prevent water from running off, and allow it to infiltrate deep into the soil, enabling our vines on this terroir to better withstand episodes of intense heat or summer drought.
Many thanks to the Vignobles de la Vallée du Rhône team for organizing this trip to discover the quality of our wines and the art of living the Nîmes way.
