Fanette Fessy and her companion Jean-Baptiste Paquet, fell into wine when they were very young. Attracted by “very beautiful terroirs” and “an appellation of the future”, they moved to Pazac in 2002, at Domaine Galus.
With a winegrower father who, in the early 1980s, bought ten hectares of vines in the commune of Bellegarde, Bruno Manzone quickly became a major operator in the territory and the appellation.
Daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of a winemaker, Fanny Molinié-Boye, accompanied by her brother François, accumulates labels and certifications for Château Beaubois.
Fanny Molinié Boyer and François Boyer took over the family estate in 2000 and converted it to organic. They produce wines there, in red, rosé and white, today sold in 25 countries around the world.
The Domaine de Poulvarel owes its name to an archaeological curiosity hidden in the grounds of the estate: the Perrotte tunnel, dug into the rock by the Romans 2,000 years ago to transportwater from the Fontaine d’Eure spring, in the vicinity of Uzès, up to the town of Nîmes.
