Family property since 1955, Château de la Tuilerie is located in the oldest geological part of the Costières de Nîmes appellation. It peaks at an altitude of 80 meters, on one of the seven hills which surround the city of Nîmes and which are swept by the Mistral, a real boon for the health quality of the berries.
The vineyard extends over 59 hectares surrounded by the purple foothills of the Cévennes to the West and the Mediterranean Sea to the South. It is anchored in an exceptional environment where woods and orchards mingle on the outskirts of the Camargue.
Château de la Tuilerie is considered one of the references of the Costières de Nîmes appellation. A pioneer in sustainable agriculture, the Château brings exceptionally high standards of care to the management of the vineyard.Practices such as grassing and leaf stripping on two sides make it possible to better control yields in order to give rise to wines with a deep color, with typical aromas of black fruits and sweet spices which make them special and unique.
