Château d’Or et de Gueules in Costières de Nîmes
Château d’Or et de Gueules

The quest for perfection is a constant for Diane de Puymorin and Mathieu Chatain, in the vineyard, in the cellar in the wines they offer. They now share management of the château with Chloé, one of their five daughters, an oenologist.

The original name of the estate comes from the coat of arms of Diane's family.
Through its colors it reflects the personality of the Château d’Or and Gueules wines:
Gold for the richness and typicality of the southern Rhône, and red (Gueules in heraldry)
for character, controlled power and elegance.

The estate is the synthesis of tradition and modernity.
Its name evokes a deep attachment to respect for a job well done, to the ancestral know-how of winegrowers who love their profession.
It is also an opening towards the future with ambitious technological choices and an unwavering commitment to sustainable development.
Labeled Organic, Château d’Or et de Gueules is also part of a biodynamic approach under the Demeter label.
Beyond certifications, the estate is multiplying initiatives to enrich and preserve biodiversity. Maintenance of hedges, plantations of oaks and olive trees, sheep pastures, absence of insecticides, ornithological reserve.
The vocation of the estate, the meaning of all this attention to the terroir and in the cellar have only one goal: to offer wines rich in personality.
