Château Mourgues du Grès in Costières de Nîmes
Château Mourgues du Grès

The estate is nestled between vineyards and orchards in the foothills of Costières de Nîmes.
To the south of the Rhône Valley, it is rocked by Rhodanian and Mediterranean influences.
François & Anne COLLARD invites you to discover and share.

Former agricultural estate of the Ursulines of Beaucaire from the 16th century, the estate owes its name to the nuns called “Mourgues” in Provençal.
As for the Grès, it is the Galets des Costières de Nîmes which give our wines all their character.

In the vineyards as in the cellar, all our actions are guided by listening to Nature, respect for the terroir and the Environment.
Our official certification in Organic Agriculture in 2014 and our Demeter certification for the management of the vineyard in Biodynamics across the entire estate meet these convictions.
Since 2015, winemaking has been carried out with a low sulfur intake for greater purity and brightness of the fruit. Very light filtration during bottling ensures the stability of the wines.
May these bottles accompany delicious moments of sharing and conviviality!
