The Domaine de la Patience is located near the Pont du Gard, between Nîmes and Avignon, in the Costières de Nîmes appellation and the IGP Coteaux du Pont du Gard, on the edge of the Côtes du Rhône and takes its name from a herbaceous plant “La Patience” present on its land.
The vineyards of Domaine de la Patience are located in 2 communes: Bezouce, “terroir of Costières de Nîmes” made from rolled pebbles and Lédenon, “terroir of Coteaux du Pont du Gard” made from loess, which helps explain the power of the wines produced.
The climate is typically Mediterranean, sunny and windy.
There is less of a marine influence than the rest of the Costières de Nîmes appellation, which gives the wines an additional particularity, closer to that of the Côtes du Rhône.
The very diverse grape varieties of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Merlot and Cinsault produce very fruity and spicy red wines and fresh and delicious rosé wines, while Chardonnay, white Grenache and Vermentino produce very fresh white wines with tropical notes.
