Organic farming constitutes a mode of production which uses agricultural and livestock practices, concerned with respecting natural balances. These products are subject to strict regulatory requirements and frequent inspections.
Domaine la Bergerade is located halfway between Nîmes and Montpellier, between the sea and the mountains in the commune of Vauvert.
The 30 hectares of vines, currently in organic conversion, surround the old Bergerie overlooking the Petite Camargue and its ponds.
A native of the region, and from a family that has always been involved in the wine industry over the generations, Jean-Pierre makes it a point of honor to preserve this heritage, this history that is ours.
The impetus is given with the desire to produce quality wines while respecting our land and its environment.
To achieve this, many changes have been made in the vineyard. The conversion of the vines to organic farming, the uprooting and replanting of certain plots, limited yields for optimal aromatic concentration of the wines, as well as major work in the cellar.
